Custom Walk-In Wine Cellar and Cigar Room: Construction Complete

Located in Metro-Detroit, this project brings back the client’s heritage in fully custom walk-in wine cellar and cigar room. From the main floor, a custom stone spiral staircase leads you down into this historic-feeling cellar finished with fond du lac stone on the walls and hardwood plank floors. Once inside the wine cellar, you are met with six fully custom French doors, four of which reveal stacked wine bottles behind them. One of the other custom French doors opens up into a walk-in humidor that stores many high-quality cigars. A historic cellar feel can be experienced not only by the stone on the walls, but also by the use of roma brick on the barrel vaulted ceiling. This vaulted ceiling is featured in each of the French door cavities and is supported by alder wood beams. This space also features a wet bar, large TV, poker table, and lounge chairs, making this wine cellar and cigar room the ultimate man cave!

I like that you talked about custom wine cellars with custom French doors which reveal stacked wine bottles behind them. I will share this tip with my husband so that the design he will get for the cellar he wanted will be functional. It’s because the has a small space to use in the basement that is why he should work with profesionals as well to create a design that would maximize the space.
